Not every piercing is right for every person and not every piercing should be done at all. We believe a great piercer knows when to say no. If a piercing won't heal well, will cause long-term damage, or simply isn't in your best interest, we'll tell you. Honestly. Every time.
These are piercings we don't perform — not because we can't, but because we won't:

Smileys: attach to fragile gum tissue and cause irreversible gum recession and tooth damage over time

Surface piercings: have an extremely high rejection rate and almost always leave scarring

Reverse P.A.s: carry a high risk of tearing and long-term tissue damage

Tongue piercings: cause significant and permanent damage to teeth and gums over time

Cheek piercings: risk damage to the parotid gland and facial nerves, and almost always scar
